NCM Festival

Music Festival

What is the biggest event that makes NCM unique among Toronto music schools? The annual NCM Music Festival!
The NCM Festival, held every June in Scarborough, is a fun family event celebrating our music students. All NCM students who have taken lessons for at least two months enter the Festival. Students can work on their music performance skills by performing in solo and group categories, with the chance to win trophies and scholarships.

Why should you join the music festival?

Performance is an essential part of learning to sing or play an instrument. We've noticed that students who perform at the Festival stay committed to becoming better musicians.
More important than winning trophies and scholarships, performing at the Festival gives kids a chance to show an audience what they've learned, to practice being in front of people, and to gain valuable experience as a performing musician.
At NCM, we believe joining the Festival is the single most important thing you can do as a music student. The preparation and performance experience will benefit you forever.
